Anybody need some coffee???

Quick thought before I retire for the night..

"All excess is rooted in emptiness"

Who do you think said that?? What do you think this person's intention was?

And hey, if you are the first person than can tell me who said that... I will send you a $10 Starbucks card! No joke. Get cracking people!

Am I allowed to be part of the contest??! I'll guess that this insightful quote must have come from the lovely Beth Moore.

Am I right?

um, i don't know if my comment just went through? if it did, sorry for the repeat!

beth moore.

i forget my words before, but basically, when people don't feel fulfilled in life, they turn to shopping, food, people, etc, to make them "happy". It's Excess. It won't make them happy.. They are empty of Christ, and will not feel fulfilled and happy until they develop a close, one on one relationship with Him.

If we fill ourselves up with Him, the excess with fade away.
